Easy Clearblue Pregnancy Test
The easy Clearblue pregnancy test is one of the home pregnancy tests that have both a digital and a non digital version. They both use a pregnancy test strip but from there the test works a little differently depending on which one you use.
For the easy Clearblue pregnancy test a midstream test strip is held under the urine stream for about 5 seconds and then placed on a flat surface. When the results are ready the user will see either a plus or minus in the results window.
Test from the First Missed Day
With the easy Clearblue pregnancy test you can test the day you first miss your period. The instructions say you can test any time of the day but the first urine of the day contains the greatest amount of the pregnancy hormone hCG.
If you get a negative result with the easy Clearblue pregnancy test and you still think you might be pregnant perform the test again in a few days.
How hCG is produced
The placenta produces the pregnancy hormone hCG after the embryo attaches itself to the uterine wall. It is the detection of this hormone that produces a positive pregnancy test. If you test too early, before the embryo has attached itself to the wall of the uterus then the hormone hCG won't be present and you will get a negative result.
Different home pregnancy tests, including the easy Clearblue pregnancy test detect hCG at different levels. Not all manufacturers will share with the public what those levels are but you can do online research to find out and that way you can choose a home pregnancy test that will detect a small amount of hCG.
The digital easy Clearblue pregnancy test works slightly different. Although you do use a pregnancy test strip in exactly the same way as you do with the other easy Clearblue pregnancy test, after you have held it in your urine stream for about 5 seconds you then place it back in the holder it came in and within about 3 minutes you will see the words PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT.
Many women like the digital version of the home pregnancy test because it eliminated all the guesswork of staring at test strips wondering if that faint line is "the line." Now with the words spelled out for you there is no confusion.
Once you find out you are pregnant or even if you think you are you should see your doctor right away so you and your baby can get the proper care.
